It is verse 255 of Surah 2. This verse has many benefits, and is recited often for protection from evil. Hadith: Prophet Muhammad said 'Whoever recites Aaayat ul-Kursi immediately after each prescribed Prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.' When the Prophet repeated his question several times, Ubayy answered, 'Ayat Al-Kursi.'
