Wjl 6000 Manual
Great product for the cost! I honestly wasn't expecting much for $20 including shipping. We all know that a quality Snap on or Matco unit is going to set you back a few hundred bucks, even the Harbor Freight unit sells for around $60. So like I said, wasn't expecting to much.

Well, it works just as it should, not quite as sensitive as some of the brand names, however a good solid unit that does do what it says. I wouldn't buy this if you are a professional, however for the home mechanic or guy just getting started this item is a no brainer and the price is excellent.

You will in fact find a refrigerant leak with it. I would recommend it for sure. Very simple on/off dial, takes four AAA batteries, includes a storage pouch and instructions. Even if you were to just use it one time it would be worth the cost and is a go od tool to have just in case. Verified purchase: Yes Condition: New. Saved me time and trouble I used this to locate the leak on my car AC unit. I found it in the schrader valves.
Low side was a heavy leak, while the High side was only slight and harder to detect, but none the less, still detectable. I checked the valves again after shutting the car off to reduce the surrounding air movement, and the leaks were even more apparent. This unit saved me a lot of trouble and time, I found the leaks in only 10 minutes of gong over all the fittings and hoses. Yes, this works really well. Verified purchase: Yes Condition: New.
Works GREAT, very sensative This leak detector works so good it will detect seepage that is so small it takes two years for the Freon level in the system to loose one 12 ounce can. All you have to do to check your compressor seals is to hold the sensor under the front part of the compressor under the clutch and it will beep if there is a leak.
It will detect 'seepage from the hose connections that are so small their not noticeable in Freon loss. I would recommend this one to anyone that wants a GREAT compact leak detector.
